What can I do If I received a payment email, but no payment?
If you received a notification of payment, and the payment is in your Payment History, but you did not receive the money, it is most likely that it was returned to us as a result of the payment settings in your account.

First we advise you to review the payment settings in your account by logging in and making sure that all payment information is correct. If there are errors, make any necessary changes and email us at support@bigstockphoto.com.

If the payment info is correct and you use Skrill or PayPal, contact their support desk to make sure there are no issues receiving money to your account with them. Both of these services have restrictions for payments to residents of certain countries.
 
Once all payment information is correct, please contact us at support@bigstockphoto.com and we will process a repayment.
Once payments are generated, they cannot be returned back to your Bigstock balance and they must be reissued. These types of payments are processed manually and are issued separately from your regular monthly earnings.


Why was money taken out of my earnings?
There are two possible reasons: Content was returned by a customer and their purchase was refunded, or, if you are not based in the US, taxes may have been deducted. Under U.S. law we are required to withhold up to 30% of your earnings from US based downloads if you have not filled out the appropriate forms. Why have my earnings have been reduced to zero?
That means we processed your payment request! Your ‘Total Payable Earnings’ are reset to zero to start a new earnings period. Your overall ‘Total Earnings’ will now be reflected in your payment history. The ‘Commissions’ page, Payment History, and Image Earnings are all areas located under the Commissions section of your account where you can see the financial activity for your account.


How do I change my payment method?
Not a problem! Each transaction is separate - you choose the method that we pay you each time you request your commissions.
Simply go to the 'Payment Preferences' area under 'Commissions' in your account. Select the new method of payment by clicking on the button next to your choice and enter the payment email address to an existing account that is set up for electronic payments that is verified, active, and able to receive U.S. funds before you request your Bigstock commissions. Then, click the 'Request Commissions' button and your request will be sent to us.

If you are requesting payment in the form of a check, be sure that your name and mailing address is on record and up-to-date in your Tax Profile.
